What is Establishments?

Establishments is the management and recording of the University's organisation structure, positions and staffing profile at a specific time. Establishments information includes:

ECU Organisation Chart For information about organisational structures, please visit the individual websites of the relevant Faculties and Centres. HR will continue to maintain the University wide organisational chart.

List of Organisational Unit Codes (Clevels) - provides a current listing of the organisational codes (CLEVELS) which are used within the University;

 

 

Position Management -  details the process for increasing (creating new), decreasing (disestablishing existing) and modifying organisational structures and staff positions.

Position Classification Standards - details examples of the criteria that positions are evaluated against.

Position Descriptions - specify the details, scope, purpose, accountabilities and required competencies for each position at ECU.   For a copy of a Position Description, please contact your HR Account Manager.

HR Delegations - defines the respective authority and a list of accountabilities for HR activities;
