ECU Staff Survey Results 2012 Click here
For the first time, this year the Staff Survey results are benchmarked against 37 other universities in the sector. This comparison shows that ECU staff report considerably higher levels of engagement and commitment to the organisation that their peers in other Australian universities.
Academic Staff Performance Expectations and Outcomes (ASPEO) Framework
The Framework aims to provide greater clarity around what the University values in the key areas of academic work; Learning and Teaching, Research and Creativity, University Leadership and Service, and Engagement. It provides a structure by which individual Academic Staff can plan the balance and emphasis of their work in the context of their professional and career development aligned with ECU's expectations.
Recently, the ASPEO Framework was endorsed and approved by the Academic Board. Over the next 12 months, the Framework will be integrated into relevant management processes including recruitment, induction and probation, performance management, career planning, professional development and academic promotion. Academic Staff are encouraged to be familiar with the Framework to add value to their performance and career planning discussions with their line manager.
